One year into Prabowo's administration, AHY became the best performing minister
Jakarta – The Center for Economic and Legal Studies (CELIOS) has released the results of a one-year performance evaluation survey of the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The survey revealed the public’s assessment of the performance of the Red and White cabinet. Based on expert assessments, the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), recorded the highest performance among ministers with a score of 50. The next position was occupied by Nasaruddin Umar (Minister of Religion) who received a score of 48 and Abdul Mu’ti (Minister of Primary, 4while) with a score of Me and Secondary Education. on public assessments, AHY was also in first position with a score of 1,042. In second place is Nasaruddin Umar with a score of 470, followed by Abdul Mu’ti with a score of 287. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT In this survey, CELIOS assesses the cabinet’s performance based on a number of main assessment components. These include the fulfillment of political promises, achievements of work programmes, suitability of policy plans with public needs, quality of leadership, budget management and policy communication. Apart from that, other components include law enforcement, cross-institutional coordination, the eradication of corruption, management of taxes and levies, as well as daily economic assistance to the community. Each indicator becomes the basis for measuring the effectiveness and public perception of the government’s performance over the past year. For information, the survey consisted of 1,338 respondents from the general public and 120 journalists as expert assessors. Amidst the cabinet’s red report card, AHY was one of the few ministers who received great appreciation thanks to the effectiveness of cross-sector coordination and targeted infrastructure development.
