Opposition to Hussiain about the appointment of non-Muslims in the Waqf Council, only followers in the Religious Committee say
New -Delhi, September 16 (IANS). Regarding the Supreme Court’s order on the new WAQF Act, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind-President Syed Sadatullah Hussaini said that the most important aspect of the ruling is that the court supported our position that the government gave unconstitutional powers to the executive. According to him, the separation of powers between the judiciary and the executive is part of the original structure of the Constitution and its violation is dangerous to the country’s democratic system. He called on the government to take a lesson from this decision of the court and not take steps against the spirit of the Constitution in the future. However, Hussaini was opposed to the order to include non-Muslim people in the WAQF board. He said it was nowhere appropriate. He argued that only followers of that religion live in any religious committee and that they have religious matters. In such a situation, the appointment of non-Muslims in the Waqf Council is extraordinary understanding. He said that the final decision of the court still had to come and that his organization would meanwhile put its point in court with full wonder and firm. Despite the Worship Act, 1991, Hussini also expressed concern about the recording of mosques across the country. He said the Supreme Court remained, which is a welcome step. He hoped that the court would issue strict and clear guidelines on the subject so that there was no unnecessary dispute in any religious place. He said that the Supreme Court has already made it clear that the place of worship is extremely important to protect our secular structure and social peace. On the other hand, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind also said that the basic principle of the civilized world is that every person must have the freedom to follow their religion and traditions. If a woman wants to carry a burka with her, then it’s her right. Its limitation is a violation of religious freedom and is unfair on personal freedom. -Ians Pim/DSC shares this story Tags
