Organizational Reformation in the Kerala Congress: New Responsibility to TJ Isac, ND Appachan’s place in AICC

Thiruvananthapuram, September 26 (IANS). The congress party on Thursday made a major change in the Wayanad District Congress Committee (DCC) and announced new appointments at the organizational level. The issued press release said that the President of Congress approved the proposal to appoint advocate TJ Isaac as chairman of the Wayanad District Congress Committee. At the same time, the president of Congress ND Appachan appointed a co-interviewed member of AICC of Kerala. The press release issued by the General Secretary of Congressional Organization KC Venugopal said that the President of Congress ND Appachan had nominated as a co-managed member of AICC and that this appointment would apply immediately. According to sources, there was an atmosphere of dissatisfaction in the organization as a result of internal factionalism and leadership struggle in the Wayanad Congress Unit. As a result, ND Appad decided to resign from his post. However, Appachan himself confirmed in a conversation with the media, saying that he had informed the party about its resignation, and it is now the task of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) whether it accepts it or not. However, Appachan is not separated from the organization. The leadership of the congress gave him new responsibility by making him a co-managed member in AICC. It is seen as a balanced step within the party, so that an imbalance in the organization does not arise. The newly appointed Wayanad DCC President’s Advocate TJ Isac is known as an active and land leader of the party. The party hopes that they will fill new energy in the organization and work to bring the party’s policy to every corner of Wayanad. -Ians VKU/DSC shares this story Tags
