Students at the St. Mary’s Senior Secondary School in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, is being put under pressure to buy books from private stores identified by the school. Parents are also put under pressure for this. The school administration freely increased the fees from the beginning of the academic session. The parents complained to SDM Vandana Mishra. Vandana Mishra investigated the school on the complaint of the parents. The SDM received several defects during the inspection. He gave the school notice. During a conversation with the Ians news agency on Wednesday, SDM Vandana Mishra said that after the start of the academic session, a complaint from the school was received that the fees were randomly increased here. Many defects were found when the school was inspected. During the school examination, the building was found to be built without passing the map. The notice given to the school administration was asked to respond within a day. If the answer is not received, the administration will act strictly. SDM said he also visited the students’ classroom and that he realized at this time that children were being forced to buy books from private stores. He further informed that the right to education is also violated in the school. Here, 25 percent seats are not insured for economically weaker students.
