Culture Minister Jakarta – Fadli Zon has criticized nickel mining in Raja Ampat, Papua. Fadli Zon said there should be no investment activities that damage nature, let alone historical sites in Raja Ampat. “We hope that there should be no mining that can damage the natural beauty and natural ecosystem that is very beautiful in Raja Ampat,” Fadli Zon said on Friday (6/6/2025). “It can be discussed later how the investment and mining activities should not disturb historical fields,” he added.
