BMC issued a notice from Mithun Chakraborty on illegal construction
Mumbai, May 18 (IANS). P-Nurta of BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) issued a show cause of actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty for illegal construction in Arangal Village in Malad, Mumbai. The notice was issued on May 10, which cited illegal construction under different sections of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act. The BMC claims that two structures with soil-plaster-mesnine floor, a ground floor structure and three temporary units were created without permission. These units used brick, wooden bands, glass walls and AC skins, which are a violation of the rules. The BMC has warned that if a satisfactory answer is not received, action will be taken to break the legal and structure under Article 475A. After receiving BMC’s notice, actor Mithun Chakraborty responded and said: “I did no illegal construction. Notices were sent to many people and we send our answer.” At the same time, the social activist Nadeem Sheikh raised the question that when 24 illegal structures were recently broken, why the construction of Mithun Chakraborty left? BMC says that a total of 101 illegal structures will be demolished by the end of May in archal and surrounding areas. This is not the first time Mithun Chakraborty has received such notice. Also in 2011, BMC issued a similar notice against him. BMC has been in action on illegal construction in Mumbai for a few days. Let me tell you, actor Mithun Chakraborty has many luxurious bungalows, hotels and countries. Apart from Mumbai and Calcutta, he also has a luxury farmhouse in Ooty. -Ians mt/as part this story tags
