Lindsay Lohan’s latest romantic comedy Our Little Secret sees two spiteful exes forced to spend Christmas together

Our Little Secret has finally landed on Netflix, with Ian Harding and Lindsay Lohan taking on the roles of two disgruntled exes.
The rom-com follows Avery (Lohan) 10 years after a bitter breakup with Logan (Harding). The pair unexpectedly cross paths again when they are forced to spend Christmas together, after discovering that their new partners are siblings.
In a bid to avoid an awkward conversation with their partners’ family, they decide to keep their past relationship a secret and vow to help each other get through the short visit. While the pair are civil and even kind to each other, other issues arise throughout the film that lead to their secret getting exposed.
As the family were opening Christmas presents, Cassie (Katie Baker) surprised Logan with a visit from his grandmother and mother. Before he could let them in on the secret, Logan’s grandmother recognized Avery and revealed the pair’s relationship to the family.
But what happened to the resentful exes in the end and which couples survived the holidays? Here, we delve into the film’s ending.
Will Avery and Logan end up together?
Yes, Avery and Logan get back together. From the beginning of the drama, the couple’s romance is portrayed as a once-in-a-lifetime love. Before their breakup, Logan had intended to marry Avery and their respective families supported the relationship.
Even so, the duo respect their new partners’ boundaries when they meet again. They don’t start an affair or even flirt throughout the film. So it comes as a surprise to viewers when Logan makes an appearance at Avery’s housewarming party in the last ten minutes of the hundred-minute movie.
He then confessed that he would relive the “nightmare” Christmas visit all over again because it brought him back to Avery and told her that he loved her.
One year later, the pair are seen happily living together. It is also implied that Erica (Kristin Chenoweth) and Stan (Tim Meadows) have sparked a new romance, after their spouses cheated on them.
The affair was a key plotline for the older couples but Margaret (Judy Reyes) and Leonard’s (Dan Bucatinsky) relationship is not shown in the final scenes.
