DPR members hope the Cilining Ambankment solution is not just on paper
Jakarta -The DPR Commission IV member Daniel Johan hopes that the Cilining Concrete Amcrete Ambankment Solution obtained when the KKP met the DKI Jakarta provincial government until the company that worked on the shore project was truly implemented. He reminded that the fishermen would not be injured by the project. “We appreciate the results of the meeting held between the KKP, the DKI Jakarta provincial government and the company. There are two important points that I think are positive, namely the guarantee that fishermen can still go to the sea and the CSR’s obligations for the surrounding community,” Daniel Johan said on Monday (9/15/2025). Browse to continue the content, he emphasized the implementation of the two solutions. He warned not to stop the solution to stop on paper. “Most important is the actual implementation in the field, don’t just stop on paper. Fishermen should not be harmed from this project,” he said. In addition, Daniel Johan also questioned the participation of the fishermen involved. He questions whether or not the aspirations of the fishermen were heard. “The points to be considered by policymakers are the surrounding community, especially fishermen who will have an impact directly, are included so that they cannot be heard directly?” Daniel Johan asked. Therefore, he emphasized that the KKP must explain themselves related to the controversy. “Commission IV of the Indonesian parliament will still call the CCP today and is scheduled because we must hear the official statement as a whole. We want to ensure that coordination goes well, there is a long -term solution and full partisanship about fishermen and environmental sustainability,” he added. The KKP met the DKI Jakarta provincial government and formerly related companies, and Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the Jakarta provincial government had called up businesses that built ripples in the Kilinant Coastal Area, North Jakarta. He said that it was agreed during the meeting that the embankment would not hinder fishermen’s activities. “Yesterday there was a meeting between the DKI Jakarta government, the company that was given permission to build the sea wall, and also the KKP ministry. It was agreed that the fishing activities were given the freedom to continue,” Pramono said in Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta, Sunday (9/14). Pramono said related businesses will also provide corporate social responsibility (CSR) for fishermen. “The company was asked to give CSR to the fishermen at that place,” he added.
