Harold Princea theater Titan who formed the history of Broadway was born on January 30, 1928.
Prince, a 21-time Tony-winning director and/or producer, created some of the most lasting theater of all time, including The Pajama Game, West Side Story, Fiorello!, Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret, Company, Follies, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Evita, and The phantom of the operathe longest running performance in the history of Broadway.
On July 31, 2019, Prince died in Reykjavík, Iceland. He was 91 years old. His legacy remains in theater history with its seminal productions that have formed theater makers, past and present.
