Islamabad, April 15 (IANS). A road accident took place in northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan on Tuesday. Here, ten people were killed and at least ten others injured in a collision between a passenger wagon and the trailer. According to police, the accident occurred on the Indus highway in the Charter District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. A high -speed trailer and passenger wagon coming out of the opposite direction collided strongly. Police and rescue team arrived to receive information about the incident, and acknowledged the injured to the nearest hospital, where the condition of many injured is critical. According to police, the road accident occurred due to the high speed of the trailer and the negligence of the driver. He said the investigation into the accident was started. According to the news agency Xinhua, police said the wagon was completely damaged due to the collision. The vehicle had to be cut to save the passengers trapped in the vehicle. According to Pakistani officials, there are regular accidents in the country due to poor road infrastructure, poor interview vehicles and carefree vehicles. Earlier on April 7, 11 people were killed and eight others injured in a road accident in the East Punjab Province Pakistan. According to police, the accident occurred in the Jaranwala district of the province, where a high -speed bus hit the rickshaw. In this accident, 11 people, including women and children, lost their lives. Police said six people died on the spot, while five others died while being taken to hospital. At least three of the injured were critical.
