Pakistan: 13 soldiers killed in suicide bomb blast in North Waziristan, 29 people injured

Islamabad, June 28 (IANS). 13 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 29 others were injured on Saturday morning in a suicide attack in the Khadi area in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pakistani media outlet Mashrik TV, citing safety agencies, said a suicide bombing hit a vehicle with an explosives by a mining, improvised explosives (IED) vehicle during a lead in the vicinity in the area. The powerful explosion killed 13 military staff and injured 29 people, including 19 ordinary citizens. There are also reports of indiscriminate shooting in the area, which injured 19 citizens, including women and children.
