Noida, April 16 (IANS). The Noida Authority performed a major action on Wednesday and did the construction of illegal colonies and farmhouses in the immersion of Hindon and Yamuna Rivers. A large number of illegal constructions were demolished on Wednesday at 10am in Village Heatpur under the campaign carried out against unauthorized constructions in the underwater area. The joint campaign was held in the presence of the Noida Authority, the Irrigation Division, the Income Division (Tehsil Dadri) and the Police Force. During the action, the country of approximately 120 Bighas was freed from the immersion of illegal constructions. The estimated market price of this land is about Rs 150 crore. About 250 employees of Noida Authority, 3 JCB machines and 5 dumpers were deployed in the demolition campaign.
