A leopard entered the populated area in Moriya ki Talai village Atma Panchayat near Kelwa area and caused panic among the people. According to the villagers, the leopard was initially seen roaming outside the village, but after a while it entered the settlement, attacked the cattle and entered the paddy field. Many animals were injured in the attack. The forest department team reached the spot. Due to this sudden incident, panic spread in the town and people ran to escape. As soon as the information was received, a team from the Rajsamand Forest Department immediately swung into action and reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Keeping the safety of the villagers in mind, the department installed an iron cage near the village, which caught the leopard within minutes. On receiving information about the incident, ranger Ladu Ram Sharma sent a special rescue team from the Rajsamand headquarters, which included ranger Satyanand Garasia, wildlife enthusiast Pannalal Kumawat, forest ranger Atal Singh, marksman Surendra Singh and Kishanlal Gayari.
