Paresh Rawal’s elucidation over ‘The Taj Story’ controversy said: The film is not related to religious issues

Mumbai, September 30 (IANS). The makers broke the silence over the controversy over Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal’s upcoming film ‘The Taj Story’. He made it clear through a social media post that this film is not related to any religious issue. He also urged people to wait a bit before making any conclusion. Actor Paresh Rawal also issued a statement about his X handle. In this he wrote, “The producer of the film ‘The Taj Story’ explains that the film is not related to any religious controversy, claiming that there is a Shiva temple in the Taj Mahal. The film is based solely on historical facts. We request the audience to see the film and make their own opinion. Thank you, Golden Services Private Limited.” This explanation came when there was a dispute over a poster of the film. In this, Paresh Rawal was seen holding the dome of the Taj Mahal and the idol of Shiva was seen inside. As a result, people on social media linked the film to the controversial claims described by the Taj Mahal as the Shiva Temple, while it is not true. The manufacturers have issued an explanation so that the film is not trapped in any controversy. The manufacturers have now removed the disputed poster from social media. It was also shared by Paresh Rawal on his ‘X’ timeline. It was written on the poster: “What if everything you learned is a lie? The truth is not just hidden, it is judged. On October 31, see the facts that reveal the facts with the TAJ story in your nearest theaters.” Last month, the producers of the film released its teaser. In this, Paresh Rawal was seen arguing in court on intellectual terrorism. ‘The Taj Story’ also plays artists such as Zakir Hussain, Amrita Khanwilkar, Sneha Wagh and Namit Das. The film was written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goyal. The film will be released in theaters on October 31. -Ians JP/As Share This Story Tags
