Passengers please pay attention! Many trains canceled from 23 to 26 October, some routes changed – train disruptions in Adra division cancellations and route changes

Jagran Correspondent, Jamshedpur. Train traffic will be affected between October 23 and 26 due to the development work being done in Adra section of the South Eastern Railway. During this period, four trains were completely cancelled, while six trains were partially canceled or short-terminated. At the same time, timings of three trains were also changed. This decision will affect thousands of passengers from Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal. Railways advised passengers to check the status of their train before travelling. These trains will be completely cancelled. According to the information released by the Railways, it has been decided to completely cancel two pairs, i.e. a total of four trains on October 26. These include: Train No. 68046/68045 Asansol-Adra-Asansol MEMU. Train No. 68077/68078 Adra-Bhaga-Adra Memu, the route of these trains has been changed, will run up to here only. Due to development works, many important trains will be stopped before their destination. These trains will be partially canceled between the scheduled stations. Jhargram-Dhanbad Express (18019/18020): On October 24, this train will go up to Bokaro Steel City station only. This train will remain canceled between Bokaro and Dhanbad. Bardhaman-Hatiya MEMU Express (13503/13504): On October 24, this train will run only up to Gomo station. His operation between Gomoh and Hatia will remain cancelled. Asansol-Purulia Express (63594/63593): On October 23, this train will only complete its journey up to Adra station. These trains will run. Timings of some trains have also been changed and they will run from their scheduled time. Buxar-Tatanagar Express (18184): On October 26, this train will depart from Buxar station to Tatanagar with a delay of 90 minutes, i.e. one and a half hours. Dhanbad-Bankura Memu (68088): On October 26, this train will depart from Dhanbad station to Bankura with a delay of 60 minutes i.e. one hour. Railway officials said once the construction work is completed in Adra division, the operation of trains will become normal. To avoid inconvenience to passengers, they have been advised to check the updated schedule of trains from the official website of Railways or helpline number before planning their journey.
