5 Death in rain -related incidents, CM Yogi asked officials to speed up the relief
In some parts of Uttar Pradesh, at least five people were killed and many others injured due to hailstorm and lightning. Officials told PTI that five people were killed in Firozabad, Siddharth Nagar and Sitapur districts. The state capital Lucknow is included in the places where it rained. In addition to Firozabad, the District Magistrate (ADM) Vishu Raja said two people died in the district due to lightning. Lalitha Devi, a 30 -year -old pregnant woman, died due to lightning in the village of Daulatpur in the Narkhi area, while 32 -year -Stop Singh died in Chinari town Jasrana. The ADM said that financial assistance will be provided to the families of the deceased. Worker Ghanshyam, 40, died due to lightning in Siddharthnagar. Officials said the incident happened in the Gaura Mangua town when he went to work in rain. Two people were killed in various incidents due to strong thunderstorms and lightning in Sitapur. Harishchandra, 25, died due to lightning while working on a farm in the Moch Khurd village Biswan police station, while 55 -year -old Kusuma Devi died after a wall collapsed due to heavy rain in the Raspur village in the Sacran police station. In light of the rain, electricity and hailstorm, the chief minister of Yogi Adityanath instructed the officials of the districts concerned to do assistance and preparation assistance. In an official statement issued here, it is said that the chief minister instructed the district officials to visit the areas concerned, carefully monitor the assistance work and ensure immediate assistance to the people affected by unfavorable weather. He said: “Make sure you distribute immediate relief to the families involved in the case of loss of life or livestock due to electricity, storm, heavy rain or hailstorm.” Adityanath also emphasized that the injured should receive quick and adequate medical treatment. The chief minister emphasized the continuing government crane acquisition process and ordered that all necessary precautions be taken to ensure secure storage of wheat in procurement centers and Mandis. He also instructed officials to carry out an intensive recording of crop damage and submit a detailed report to the government for appropriate action. In the areas affected by the weakening, Adityanath asked immediate drainage arrangements to ensure the problem on priority base.
