Patna Metro's first trial was successfully completed, when operation begins
Patna Metro successfully conducted a trial on the increased track between Patna Depot and Bhootnath Metro Stations on Sunday. The authorities said detailed information that the train covers a distance of 4.5 km and to ensure security, the train slowly passes from three stations – ISBT (pathaliputra busterminal), Zero Mile and Bhootnath. It has been said that the operation of Metro trains in Patna will reduce the traffic congestion and also reduce the time of travel, which will facilitate the inhabitants of many areas. At the beginning of the past week, the authorities said Metro services are likely to start at the end of September. The Patna Metro Rail Corporation (PMRCL) officials provided detailed information on the test, and the purpose of the test was to judge the performance of the train on the tracks. The government has also confirmed the overall electrification system that offers strength to metro -site operations. PMRCL also tested several aspects, including alignment, stability and overall safety of the tracks. The government further stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will set the subway this month after the successful trial. PMRCL emphasized that Metro trains will show a glimpse of the Cultural Heritage of Bihar, such as Golghar, Mahavir Temple, Mahabodhi Temple, Buddha Stupa and Nalanda ruins. He further explained that the roofs of coaches are decorated with Madhubani paintings and other traditional arts. Earlier last month, PMRCL reported that the first phase of Patna Metro would run between the depot and Malahi Pakri. He further stated that the route from about 4.5 km from depot to Bhootnath is ready for operations. The government also informed that trains will go through large stations, including ISBT, Zero Mile and Bhootnath. However, due to incomplete work near Khemanichak station, the train will not reach Malahi in the first few months. Share this story -tags
