Ambala police arrested a person and got about 5.400 liquor bottles out of his possession. The accused was identified as Ashish, a resident of Jind. He was produced in court today, from where he was sent for three days. A spokeswoman for Ambala police said: “Based on a secret information that a truck with a large amount of beverage is coming from Punjab, a check mail was made near the Kalu Majra area and the truck was stopped. 450 boxes (5.400 bottles) were repaired during the control.
