Pertamina wins first place in the most innovative public agency in 2025

Jakarta – PT Pertamina (Persero) won first place as ‘Most Innovative Public Agency’ in the 2025 Information Transparency Award held by the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia. This award confirms Pertamina’s commitment as a pioneer of innovation in public information disclosure. Pertamina’s Vice President for Corporate Communications, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, said that this achievement was the result of the company’s consistency in strengthening transparency and public participation. “This award is a manifestation of Pertamina’s commitment to strengthening transparency and innovation in the disclosure of public information. Pertamina is considered superior in the implementation of digital and non-digital innovation, positive impact on the public, compliance with the theme ‘Building access to information for Indonesian independence and global competitiveness’, as well as communication strategies that encourage community participation. During the activity, Pertamina also showcased various innovations in public information disclosure channels through a booth themed ‘Energizing The Information’ which was interactive and educational. These channels include the official website, social media, Pertamina Call Center 135, email infopublik@pertamina.com, Energia magazine, and public service mobile applications. “Through these official channels, the public can verify information and obtain accurate data regarding Pertamina’s activities and policies. This step is part of our efforts to counter fake news and disinformation in the digital space,” Fadjar added. As a national energy company, Pertamina continues to expand access to public information and strengthen a culture of accountability. This effort is also aligned with the implementation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles and a commitment to net zero emissions by 2060 through various programs that support the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs).
