Pratapgarh/Sunil Yadav: In Pratapgarh, an advocate was attacked in broad daylight. Surprisingly, the person who attacked the advocate was sitting behind on his bike along with the advocate. Advocates were going to the tehsil by giving a lift to a person from the village on their bike, but on the way the attacker attacked his neck with a sharp weapon. This incident is of Shri Ram intersection of Nagar Kotwali area.

Seriously injured advocate Prayagraj refer
The victim advocate Subhash Gupta, who is a resident of village Ibrahimpur in Antu police station area, was badly injured by this sudden attack. Passengers and local people immediately rushed him to Medical College, Pratapgarh. But due to the condition being critical, the doctors referred him to Rani Hospital in the form of Prayagraj.

Attacking police arrested
Soon after the incident, the police took a speed and took the accused into custody. The shocking thing is that the attacker is also a resident of the advocate’s village. The police is now looking for the reason behind the attack whether it was a case of an old rivalry or there was some other reason.

Angry advocates demanded action
As the news of the attack spread, tremendous resentment spread among the advocates. A large number of lawyers reached the medical college and demanded strict action from the administration. Several police officers including Additional SP Eastern Durgesh Singh reached the spot and started investigating the case.

Police assured strict action
The Superintendent of Police said that on the basis of the tahrir of the family of the advocate, a case will be filed against the accused in serious sections. At the same time, the police is engaged in finding the real motive of the attack by interrogating the accused.
