Plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of CPC from October 20 in Beijing, discussion on China’s five-year plan.

Beijing, October 18 (IANS). The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) will be held in Beijing from October 20 to 23. The main theme of this conference is to discuss the 15th Five Year Plan. It will prepare a blueprint for China’s development for the next five years (2026-2030). The Five Year Plan is China’s road map to guide social and economic development over the next five years. It highlights national strategic intent, clarifies the priorities of government work, and standardizes and directs the behavior of business entities. Five-year plan plays a leading role in the national planning system. From 1953 to now, China has prepared and implemented 14 five-year plans. It has enhanced economic and social development, promotion of national potential and improvement in civic life. Under the Five Year Plans, China became the second largest economic power in the world and the ‘engine’ of economic growth in East Asia and even the whole world. As the largest developing country in the world, China integrates its development into human development and always promotes global development. By organizing international exhibitions such as CIIE, CIFTIS, Canton Fair and CISCE, China is keeping its promise of opening up through concrete actions. China has provided important opportunities for market, investment and economic growth to various countries of the world. More and more Chinese initiatives, including building a community with a shared future for mankind, the common construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, the global development initiative, the global security initiative, the global civilization initiative and the global governance initiative, are converging in international consensus.
