PLN said the power outages are due to interference with the Gandul regional substation. ‘There was an instant electric disorder at the 150 kV Gandul substation that caused the electricity to go out in a small number of places in the southern part of Jakarta,’ said senior communications and general manager of the Greater Jakarta PLN distribution unit, Haris Andika, Thursday (3/4/2025). Haris said the first disorder occurred around 3:30. PLN officials in standby have managed to recover within 30 minutes.
