Chandauli, October 11 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the modern fish market in the Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh through virtual medium on Saturday. This market is based in the Krishi Mandi complex, which will provide facilities to fishermen and farmers from production to marketing on a single platform. On this occasion, Sanjay Nishad, Minister of State Government, resigned Prime Minister Modi, saying: “I congratulate the country, Narendra Modi, congratulating a fish market in Asia in Chandauli. Minister Nishad said 15 projects from the projects inaugurated by Premier Modi are related to Uttar Pradesh. He said that the central government was empowering the fish farmers across the country by Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana. Uttar Pradesh reached second place in the country in the field of fish farming today. He said: “Prime Minister Modi clearly states that unless the farmers are prosperous, the development of the country is not possible. The development of towns is the basis of the development of the country.” He also added that the central government is determined to make farmers and youth economically independent, and this is the direction of the ‘golden age’ of today. Local public representative Rana Pratap Singh, who was present in the program, said while talking to Ians, “It’s a matter of happiness for the people of Chandauli that the fish market was inaugurated by the blessings of Premier Modi. He further said that Prime Minister Modi also said earlier that the rural economy would be strengthened by linking agriculture, animal husbandry and fisheries. This fish market is a concrete step in that direction. Many states, including Purvancal, will receive direct benefits of this. Rana Pratap Singh said this Mandi will open new doors of employment and confidence to the regional people.
