According to information available on many websites, Pradeep Sharma is originally from Madhya Pradesh. Pradeep Sharma graduated in chemistry. He then passed the Gujarat Administrative Service (Gas) exam in 1981 and began his career as deputy collector in Gujarat. In 1999 he was promoted as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). He served important administrative positions in districts such as Jamnagar, Bhavnagar, Rajkot and Kutch. He was a collector in Kutch from 2003 to 2006. The arrest in 2009 was Pradeep Sharma for the first time by Gujarat police arrested in a corruption case in the year 2009, when he was the Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation Commissioner. After this, in the year 2012, the ED registered a case against him for violating the Money Laundry Prevention Act (PMLA). He was accused of money laundering. According to the allegations of the Ed, when Pradeep Sharma was the collector of the Kutch district in 2003-04, he sold the land of the state government to the WelSpon group in Kutch, which caused a loss of about Rs 1.2 crore to the state. Ed claims that the welcome company allegedly gave 30 percent participation in Sharma’s wife, who makes a packaging material. With this, Sharma’s family received a profit of about Rs 29.5 Lakh. According to the ED investigation, this amount was first deposited into Sharma’s wife’s bank account and later transferred to Sharma’s own account. Now the sentence was announced by the BHUJ Court in the Kutch district Gujarat, in a case, former IAS officer Pradeep Sharma and three other officers up to five years were strict imprisonment and £ 10,000. This case is related to the rigging of the government’s land allocation and abuse of the post to the private company in Mundra. Special Public Prosecutor HB Jadeja requested the court to begin the sentence of Sharma after completing the earlier sentence in 2030, accepted by the court.
