PM Modi will set Navi Mumbai International Airport on October 8

Mumbai, October 4 (IANS). The Navi Mumbai International Airport will be devoted to the public soon and adds a new chapter to the infrastructure of India. On October 8, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will set up this International Airport. Navi Mumbai International Airport is expected to be one of the most modern and environmentally friendly airports in the country. PM Modi will remain in Navi Mumbai on this occasion. CIDCO administrative director Vijay Singhal said the project would be a symbol of India’s progressive development. The first runway from the airport is ready, and the second runway will be completed in four years. All terminals will be linked to the integrated system, which will offer world -class facilities to the passengers. Modern services such as luggage management will be available at the metro station via a direct check-in and ‘one-up and two-and-two-and-bag-facility’ app. The emphasis was on green energy and water conservation for environmental protection. The terminal gives a look at Indian culture through digital art, while the operation will be used. To improve connectivity, a new path from Atal Setu to Coastal Road is being built. The Metro Line 8 is expected to be approved soon, which will connect Navi Mumbai and Mumbai Airport. In addition, water taxi service will also begin, which will provide additional facilities for passengers. A total of Rs 19.600 crore was spent on this project, in which Cidco invested RS 3.500 crore for land development. The airport has a separate taxi facility for 350 aircraft parking and both runways. This airport doubles the air traffic capacity of the Mumbai metropolitan region. Vijay Singhal said that the work of Thane Airport will start soon. The project will not only accelerate Navi Mumbai, but also the economic development of the entire Maharashtra.
