Mumbai, September 14 (IANS). In the world of Hindi literature, there are some writers whose pen writes poems, and at the same time the drama of the stage also creates well. They create poems for children, so they also write a sharp satire for elders. Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena was such a writer. In his compositions, words, but also experiences, sensations and the heartbeat of society, were also completed. He wrote poems, drama, children’s literature, novels and journalism … in all these genres. He was a Hindi artist in whom many writers were established simultaneously. Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena was born on September 15, 1927 in the Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. Sarveshwar, who came out of a small town, never thought he would one day become a big name for Hindi literature. He did his early studies of Basti and then came to Benaras, where the interim examination of Queens College passed. He then did his mother at the University of Allahabad. This city introduced itself to the true colors of the literature. His association here has increased with literary activities and began writing. In the first career, Sarveshwar got a distribution work in the AG office. He also maintained his creativity during work. A short time later he came to Delhi, where he became an assistant editor in the Hindi News Department of All India Radio, but even after the radio, he tilted to the literature. In 1964, when the famous journalist and junk Sachidanand Hiranand Vatsyayan ‘Agnayya’ ‘Dinman’ magazine began, he joined Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena with a special request. It was a big turn in his literary journey. In Dinman, he wrote a column named ‘Charache and Charkha’, which was a unique combination of satire and social remark. It was the platform that established himself as a serious journalist. The poem lives in his soul. Her poems became part of the new poem movement and joined the ‘third Saptak’. This book is considered an important turn in the history of Hindi poetry. Sarveshwar’s poems used to touch love, pain, politics and society … every aspect. He wrote love poems like ‘stay with you …’, who still touch the thoughts of those who read. He also wrote plays. His play ‘Bakri’ was such a sharp political satire that the government banned it during the emergency. Not only that, this drama was also banned in Mauritius. Apart from this, playing as “removes poverty removed,” hawalat, and “battle” new energy filled on stage. Writing for children was a social responsibility for them. He believed that the future of a country that does not have a good children’s literature is not safe. He wrote child poems like ‘Batuta’s Shoe’ and ‘Mahangu Ki Tie’, which is still included in children’s books. In 1982 he became the editor of the Ball magazine ‘Parage’ and remained associated with it until his last time. Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1983 for his collection of poems ‘Khuntis Han Log’. Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena passed away on September 23, 1983. -Sians PK/AS
