Jakarta – The Metro Jaya Regional Police (Polda) continues to spread messages in an effort to build security and public order (kamtibmas) from mosque to mosque. This programme, called ‘Jumat Keliling’, was held as part of a cooling system to create coolness by increasing faith and piety. “This Jumling program is a way for the National Police to be present in the community, convey social security messages and strengthen relationships in order to maintain security stability in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya,” said AKBP Sujanto, in his statement to journalists on Saturday (18/10/2025). This activity, which was staffed by the Binmas Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya, was held on Friday, 17 October 2025, at the Al-Furqon Mosque, Jalan Jambu Air, Kota Baru Village, West Bekasi District, Bekasi City. with the Ditbinmas Jumling team. SCROLL TO CONTINUE CONTENT AKBP Sujanto said that this Jumling activity is not only part of the police program but a true manifestation of strengthening the relationship and synergy between the police and the community. “Let us work together to maintain security and stay away from all forms of violence, fighting and anarchic acts. Security is our responsibility and belongs together,” said AKBP Sujanto. AKBP Sujanto invited mosque youth to continue spreading positive things to their surroundings. He also reminded the importance of avoiding immorality, increasing goodness and making mosques prosperous as centers of worship and positive community activities. Chairman of the Al-Furqon Mosque DKM, Ustaz Safrudin, expressed his appreciation and thanks for the visit and attention of the ranks of the Ditbinmas Polda Metro Jaya. “We are very grateful for the arrival and concern of the police. We hope that the National Police will always be given health, strength and blessing in the performance of their duties to maintain national security,” said Ustaz Safrudin. As a form of social concern, Ditbinmas Polda Metro Jaya also handed over assistance in the form of Al-Quran and social packages to the administrators of Al-Furqon Mosque. The activity was then concluded with friendly hospitality and friendship with local residents.
