Health insurance continues to develop its medical and digital services in Cairo Governorate – ryan

The General Authority for Health Insurance announced the completion of the work of developing a number of facilities affiliated with the Authority in Cairo, in order to enhance the efficiency of services provided to citizens and rise to the level of health care, as part of the strategic plan of the Authority and according to the standards of the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Supervision (GAHAR).

This comes within the framework of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, to develop the health system in all governorates of the Republic.

Infrastructure development and digital systems included some centers for issuing health insurance cards, which contributes to facilitating citizens’ access to health services easily and efficiently.

Dr. Ahmed Mustafa, Chairman of the General Authority for Health Insurance, explained that the developed digital systems contribute to improving the experience of patients, by reducing the waiting time and organizing the process of providing the service, in order to provide privacy and respect for patients, especially the elderly and people with special needs.

He pointed to the expansion of the operation of the cards issuance centers in the ADAD clinic, which is one of the most important service centers of the Cairo branch, which serves a wide segment of beneficiaries, and cards issuance centers were operated with clinics of Mansheya, Badr, and Nasr City, in addition to a center in the Syndicate Committee in the Ministry of Planning, in order to reduce pressure from the main center and the Nasser Clinic.

In a related context, the authority confirmed the completion of a comprehensive development of the Shubra Parachute Clinic, one of the clinics of the Cairo branch, where the development work included maintenance of buildings, raising the efficiency of infrastructure, and providing them with the latest medical equipment and modern digital systems. The clinic provides its services to about 87,478 citizens, and the daily frequency is between 300 to 350 patients, in addition to approximately 90 patients per day in laboratory and radiology departments.

The clinic services include multiple specializations, including:
Hydroa – bones – ophthalmology – women and obstetrics – dermatology – psychological and nervous – teeth – rheumatism – rays – laboratory – sterilization – pharmacy, providing an integrated health system for beneficiaries.

Within the authority’s plan to update the medical infrastructure and provide the latest diagnostic devices, the radiology department at Al -Nasr Hospital in Helwan was provided with an advanced 128 -slide vertical radiology device, characterized by the speed of performance and the accuracy of diagnostic, especially in cardiovascular diseases.

The new device provides advanced checks that include:
The brain and nerves – kidneys – bones – blood vessels – abdomen and pelvis – digestive system – chest diseases – urinary tract – accidents and emergency, which represents a qualitative shift in the level of service provided to patients.

Dr. Sayed Jalal, Director General of the Cairo Health Insurance Branch, stressed that all developed centers operate with the digital ticket system to arrange roles, which facilitates patients to reserve their role without trouble or crowding, while giving priority to critical cases, the elderly and those with determination.

The General Authority for Health Insurance confirms its full commitment to implementing the state’s plans in developing health infrastructure, raising the efficiency of establishments, and providing services worthy of the Egyptian citizen, according to the latest technological and approved standards, and to achieve Egypt’s 2030 vision in the health sector.
