Police catch ball supporters who submit toy pistols while convoys in Cikarang

Jakarta – Police have arrested a man with initials ASJ, 28, after Viral lifted a toy gun during a convoy of the victory of football supporters in Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java. The offender claimed to have brought a toy gun to scare the opponent’s supporters. The head of the criminal investigation unit of the Bekasi Metro Police Commissioner Oncoseno Grandinso Sukahar said the incident happened on Friday (9/5/2025) in the town of Pasirgombong, Northern Cikarang. The offender was arrested in his home on Saturday (10/5), or the day after the incident. “Police immediately investigated and managed to secure ASJ Saturday night, May 10, 2025, at his home,” Oncoseno told reporters in his statement on Sunday (11/5). The offenders are still being investigated by police under the investigation. “The action is considered the potential to disturb the order and safety of the community.
