Police in Mumbai arrested the accused with drugs
Mumbai, October 11 (IANS). In the country’s financial capital, Mumbai police arrested two accused in separate drug cases. Mumbai’s Nirmal Nagar police station has arrested a drug supplier. Police have recovered MD drugs from him, whose price in the international market is about Rs 6 lakh 40 thousand. The investigative team registered a case against the accused in terms of the NDPS Act and arrested him. The accused was produced in court on Saturday, from where he was sent to police until October 15. According to the information received from the police, police received secret information that a person would provide drugs near Prasad Nx Hotel in the Khar area in Mumbai, after which police were trap. When a person appeared in a suspicious state, police detained him and searched him and found drugs from him. Police have now tried to find out where the drugs were brought and to whom they will be provided. In the second case, Bandra Unit of Anti -Deeding Cells of the Crime Branch of Mumbai arrested a Nigerian citizen from Santa Cruz, Vakola area and seized 523 grams of cocaine drugs worth Rs 5.23 of him. According to the crime branch officer, while patrolling in Santa Cruz Vakola area, a person was seen in a suspicious state on the footpath outside Diamond Aiwa Hostel. The officers stop immediately and search him. The team found a white nylon bag with the man, which contains 523 grams of cocaine medicine. Field testing was performed using a special test set and after chemical testing the powder turned light blue in color, confirming that it was cocaine.
