New -delhi, September 10 (IANS). Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh on Tuesday launched an important digital initiative. He inaugurated the factory license and fee module, which is directly integrated from the property tax application. This new system will be facilitated and reinforced to obtain a Delhi factory operations license. The mayor said that all the departments led by the chief minister of Delhi worked, which provides the public with relief. During the program, Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh spoke to reporters and said: “Our agenda was succeeded in the last meeting. Since MCD is under BJP today, it is a pleasure to us that proposals come from the public. Today the portal we will add you will now add you five percent with your property tax. He informed that the factory license from today is fully available on the online portal, which will provide industrialists and small business people. This module is part of the digital initiative of the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD), which aims to increase transparency and comfort. Now the factory owners will have to deposit five percent of the license fees at the time of payment of property tax, so that separate application will not be required. The mayor said this system was designed to promote small and medium industries. The number of factories in Delhi is increasing, and this new facility will reduce the delay in the licensing process. Senior MCD officials, industry representatives and BJP leaders were present in the program. The mayor said: “Public claims are taking precedence in BJP -raised MCD. Many services have been introduced by digital portals over the past few months, such as birth certificate, death certificate, trading license and now factory license.
