The government has set a cost of about Rs 80 crore for this ambitious project. The responsibility of implementing the project was presented to the executive agency Raj Lakshmi Enterprises. The measurement of land for the construction of the bus station is complete. In addition, geological soil investigation was also conducted before the construction of the proposed building with ten floors. The new bus station will be developed according to a PPP (public -private partnership) model, which will include passenger facilities as well as commercial facilities.
