Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto has given his ministers an ultimatum not to be warned three times if they do not want to be replaced. Golkar believes that the warning given by the president before his first year in office shows target orientation, not just the behavior of individual ministers. “It is good. Firm, but offers an opportunity to improve. The President is focused on the targets of each ministry. Not only on behavior, but on the performance to be achieved,” Golkar’s secretary general, Muhamad Sarmuji, told journalists on Sunday (19/10/2025). Sarmuji handed the question to Prabowo whether a cabinet reshuffle would be carried out within one year of his administration or not. According to him, ministerial replacements can be carried out at any time according to the president’s needs. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT “As for the reshuffle, that is his authority. Without warning, he can also reshuffle if the president feels it is necessary, especially those who have been reminded many times,” he said. Apart from that, Sarmuji is optimistic that Golkar ministers will work well in the cabinet. He said that the cadres who were Prabowo’s ministers are also being evaluated at Golkar. “God willing, the minister of Golkar can perform his presidential duties well,” said Sarmuji. “Yes, we remind each other because every mandate must be met with good performance,” he continued. Prabowo’s ultimatum Prabowo previously reminded ministers to work properly and not commit abuses. He warned his ministers that if they were warned three times they were still ‘naughty’, they would be replaced. “My subordinates are great, aren’t they? If there are one or two naughty ones, I’ll warn them, right?” said Prabowo when he gave a scientific speech at the public senate session of the National University of the Republic of Indonesia (UKRI) at The Trans Luxury Hotel, West Java on Saturday (18/10). “One warning, you’re still naughty, you still won’t listen, two warnings, three times, it’s okay to move,” he continued. Prabowo will not be afraid to face the ‘thieves’ in this country. He believes the people are after him. “I have no doubt, I will face corruption, criminals, thieves, I will face it with my brothers and sisters.
