Prabowo returning confiscated IDR 13 T is judged to prove that the country is corruption-free

Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto, through the Office of the Attorney General, returned IDR 13.2 trillion in losses from a criminal corruption case involving the export of palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives to the state. Prabowo’s move is seen as an achievement and momentum to prove a country without corruption. “Until now, I have been tough, critical, and will always be. But if there is an achievement like this, I will also support it. This is an important moment, the president’s statement is clear, the direction is clear, and we must support it. The president must continue to prove every day that what he says will become the reality of the Indonesian people, namely a country without corruption, told Hardjuno Law and Development Expert his message,” hardjuno Law and Development Expert said on Wednesday. In this statement, the president places corruption as not only a violation of the law, but a threat to the national economic structure,” Hardjuno added. Furthermore, Hardjuno sees this move as a sign that the government is placing law enforcement as part of its national development strategy. “Stupidity like this sends a clear message to the business world that profits should not be achieved at the expense of the interests of the people. The state is here to protect the public,” he continued. He also expressed his appreciation to the Attorney General’s office for being able to recover large amounts of government losses. According to him, this achievement proves the ability of Indonesian law enforcement agencies to work efficiently and transparently. “Rp. 13.2 trillion is not a small figure. It is the result of serious work that should be appreciated because it shows that the state can still restore its rights,” said Hardjuno. However, Hardjuno also emphasized the importance of maintaining the continuity of this step. “Don’t stop at one big issue. The enthusiasm must be continued to other sectors prone to irregularities. Momentum like this is rare, so consistency must be maintained,” he emphasized. He believes that if the government and legal apparatus continue to cooperate with the principles of substantive justice, Indonesia will move towards governance that is more sovereign and trusted by the people. “The key is sustainability. Legal success must be linked to economic justice,” he added. Dan Hardjuno also said that criticism of the government and law enforcement should be encouraged. And at the same time, everyone should be able to see the facts of what happened. From there, both the government and the people can work together to realize the dream of a just, prosperous country without corruption. “I pray that the president will really go ahead with all this and do what he keeps saying, namely to fight the legal mafias that are destroying the foundations of our national life,” he concluded.
