Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana: Mantri Awas Yojana in Dewas, Lokayukta has submitted three Sparrels
Madhya Pradesh News Desk !! A case has been registered against at least 45 officers and employees from various departments on charges of abuse of the amount awarded to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Pmay) in the Dewas district Madhya Pradesh. Police investigation revealed that an alliance would darken crores of rupees over the past few years by creating false accounts. Action was done on the basis of an investigation report by the Lokayukta Department of the State Government, which revealed that officials and employees in Dewas had illegally transferred money for Pmay between 2017 and 2022. The report available at Ians revealed that a large amount for affordable housing for poor people under PMay was not only withdrawn from bank accounts, but also transferred to different accounts. The money was again abused for personal interests by creating a false account. Senior BJP leader and former Minister Deepak Joshi raised the issue and threatened to protest against the government of his own party. Joshi wrote a letter to Premier Narendra Modi on December 25 demanding attention to the matter. Thereafter, the state administration came into effect and a case was registered against 45 people, including government officials. Joshi told Ians-when I raised the case earlier, some of my own party (BJP) leaders accused me of doing politics and voting against the BJP government. But I kept the matter because my father (former cm of Madhya Pradesh Kailash Chandra Joshi) won the election eight times from Bagli seat and people trusted us. Currently, this constituency is reserved for scheduled tribes (ST), but people come to me when there is a problem. Joshi also claimed that the actions of Madhya Pradesh police took place two days ago after his letter came on social media. He said that over the past one year I have raised the issue of BJP leadership, ministers and top officials many times, but instead of actions, I was convicted of calculating the party’s image for my political profits. Worse, when two people filed a complaint, local police made false allegations against them. My father served the people of Bagli for years, we share a special bond with them, which is why I raised the issue, not for our political profits. However, this is not the first example that the eclipse of money for affordable housing is reported under Pmay in Madhya Pradesh. A few months ago, such cases were also reported from the Satna district. -Ians Bhopal News Desk !!! Casey/ANM shares this story
