This festival starts from October 25 and ends on October 28, in which government agencies will provide assistance. A large number of traffic police personnel should be deployed on the roads of such places. The Chief Minister himself may attend the Mahaparva program in Gurugram. Chhath Puja takes place after Diwali. People of Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm. Lakhs of people from Purvanchal live in Haryana NCR and other cities. More than 50 Chhath Ghats are being built in Gurugram and Faridabad. The big festival starts from October 25 with Nahay-Khay. It will have to be eaten the next day. On the third day Sun God is worshipped, in which Arghya is sacrificed to the setting sun. On the fourth day, on October 28, this fast is celebrated and concluded by offering Arghya to the rising sun. Water and other arrangements at Chhath Ghat are made by government agencies. Due to elections being held in Bihar, the Haryana government will leave no stone unturned in the preparations for the Chhath festival.
