Beijing, June 29 (IANS). The Chinese President XI Chinfing recently sent a reply letter to all the residents of Gala Village in Linchi City of Shitsang, expressing his hope and best wishes to the residents. In his letter, President Xi remembered his visit to Gala Village four years ago and explained how the cleanliness, beauty and vibrancy of the residents had a profound impact on him. He expressed happiness for knowing that there has been a significant change in the town over the past few years and that the revenue of farmers has also increased. President XI hoped some of the residents of the Gala village that they would maintain ethnic unit led by the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) development and policy to enrich the public. He encouraged them to create a better life, protect the beautiful natural scenes of the plateau, to show the trademark of the ‘Peach Village’ and contribute to the creation of a rich and stable marginal region. In July 2021, President Xi visited Chinfing Gala Village during his Shitsang inspection. Gala Village is known for its wild peach flowers and has achieved significant achievements over the past few years to strengthen rural tourism, development of collective economy and ethnic unit. This year is the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Shewsang. On this occasion, the people of the town of Gala recently wrote a letter to President XI and made them aware of the status of the development of their town and their determination to create a better life, in response to which President XI sent this inspirational letter.
