It is expected that there will be smiles on the faces of the farmers of Rajasthan. Along with the Cooperative Membership Drive, the technical process related to Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) has also been simplified, paving the way for the long pending installments of many eligible farmers. With the efforts of the district administration and the cooperation of the Cooperative Department, the work of Aadhaar seeding and e-KYC is now progressing rapidly, paving the way for thousands of farmers to get their pending installments. Meeting chaired by District Collector: A review meeting of Cooperative Membership Drive was held on Monday under the chairmanship of Rajsamand District Collector Arun Kumar Hasija. Deputy Registrar Vinod Kothari said that as per the instructions of the Collector, a detailed action plan has been prepared for the cooperative membership drive in the district to connect more and more people with cooperative institutions. He said that managers of rural cooperative societies have been on strike for some time, which has hampered the progress of the campaign. However, the strike ended on Monday due to the intervention of Gautam Duck, officer of the State Cooperative Department. The “Cooperative Membership Campaign” which runs till October 15 in the state is a golden opportunity for the farmers. Its direct benefit will be given to those beneficiaries of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana whose installments got stuck due to incomplete process. There are 77.73 lakh farmers in the state who have not completed Aadhaar seeding and e-KYC and due to this shortfall payments have stopped. One stop facilities in the camp: Aadhaar seeding and e-KYC are included as special activities in the camp organized under the “Cooperative Membership Campaign” so that the farmers can be saved from the hassle of visiting various offices. Farmers can also seed their Aadhaar themselves through facial recognition on e-Mitra, Common Service Center or PM Kisan GOI mobile app. Only Aadhar card is required. Similarly, they can also contact their Patwari or Tehsil office for e-KYC. Share this story Tags
