Prime Minister Modi talks to Mauritius’s Prime Minister, discussion on strengthening strategic partnership

New -Delhi, June 24 (IANS) Premier Narendra Modi, on Tuesday had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Dr. Naveen Chandra Ramgulam, fed. The two leaders exchanged ideas about strengthening strategic partnerships and regional development between India-Mauritius. Prime Minister Modi posted on X after the conversation, “It was a pleasure to talk to his friend Prime Minister, Dr. Naveen Chandra Ramgulam. We exchanged ideas about strengthening the strategic partnership and regional development of India-Marysus. Mauritius remains an important partner in India’s vision and our neighbor.” During the conversation, the two leaders emphasized special and unique relations between India and Mauritius and confirmed their shared commitment to further deepen the strategic partnership between the two countries. He discussed the continued collaboration in many areas, including development partnership, capacity building, defense, maritime security, digital infrastructure and people. PM Modi appreciated the entire heart participation of PM Ramgulam in 11th International Yoga Day. He repeated the strong dedication of India to Mauritius’ development priorities in accordance with the Vision Ocean and the neighboring policy of India. Prime Minister Modi also invited Prime Minister Ramgulam to come to India soon. The two leaders agreed to stay in touch. Earlier in March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Mauritius for two days. After the conclusion of Mauritius’s state visit, Prime Minister Modi used on social media to express his gratitude. PM Modi posted on his ex -handle, “I thank Prime Minister Dr. Naveen Chandra Ramgulam, Mauritius People and the Government for Heat.” Prime Minister Modi was the second time on the National Day of Mauritius for the second time, and only went to Mauritius in 2015. During the ceremony, the president of Mauritius, Dharambir Gokhulul, honored Prime Minister Modi with the highest civil honors of Mauritius’s grand commander of the Star and AI of the Indian Ocean ‘(GCSK) -width.
