Attempts to derail Garib Rath Express train near Malihabad station failed
On Wednesday (April 16) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, a great attempt to derail the Garib Rath Express train has been put on hold. A thick piece of wood was placed on the tracks between Dilawar Nagar and Rahimabad stations. The manager of ‘Kashi Vishwanath Express’ realized the danger in time and immediately notified the officials concerned. The accident was averted after the Garib Rath train was stopped at Malihabad station. A Gamcha written on the railway track was also found. Police became alert after seeing the twigs of the mango tree and the wooden stick on the scene. Suspicious items were found near polling number 1109/11. A case is registered against unknown persons at the Rahimabad police station. The joint team of Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Uttar Pradesh police are conducting a thorough investigation. Police will also conduct a forensic investigation into the items found on the track. CCTV footage is being investigated to identify suspects holding a wooden block between Dilawar Nagar Nagar, Rahimabad stations. Police are investigating the case from all possible angles. According to the report, the offenses placed a wooden block of about 2.5 feet long and more than 6 inches on the track between Dilawar Nagar and Rahimabad as part of a conspiracy to derail the train. This block hit 05577 Saharsa Anand Vihar Garib Rath train that comes from Lucknow at about 02:43. When he hit the wood, the train manager informed the Rahimabad station master for Prakash. On the instructions of the station master, Rajesh Ranjan immediately went to the place and found 2.5 feet long, 6 inches thick wooden blocks and some green tree branches between the traces of the upline near the pillar number 11099/11. A case registered against the offenses is covered with yellow pot. They cleaned the track and removed the stuff. A few more twigs of the mango tree were found near the pole number 1109/10/12, which was also removed.
