Not in all MPO-listed educational institutions across the country. The education sector has come to a standstill. Until our demands are met, teachers and staff will not participate in any class or academic activity. “Azizi told Bangladeshi Bengali Daily Prothom Alo:” We have rejected the proposal of the education consultant for discussion. Our only claim is the official notice of the Gazette. There is no room for talks now. “The protests began after the financing department of the interim government of Bangladesh approved the home lease for MPO -listed teachers and staff from Taka 1,000 to Taka 1,500 on September 30. allegedly distributed the protesters in front of the Perse Club using water cannons, Lathi charges and sound grenades, after which they had to take their protest against Shaheed Minar.
