On this occasion, the President of the PRTC Workers Union Azad Jasmer Singh said the employees won the case in the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court, despite that, they were not on duty. He said that earlier unskilled workers get salary on the seventh of each month, but that they are now being paid in two installments and up to 25th. Jasmer Singh demanded that the government continue the facility of free travel for all passengers, but PRTC must be paid on time so that the employees can get regular salary. He also claimed that PRTC roads are in major losses due to the negligence of the government. He said the government promised to close buses on wrong permits, but that such illegal buses were still running in many areas, including Patiala. The organization stopped them earlier. However, buses started again. He demanded the government to take strict steps in this direction. Gurpreet Singh, depot president of PRTC 2,511 units, said that the fight launched by Independent Union Brothers has full support from PRTC 2.511. He demanded the government to make temporary employees permanent, abolish the contractual practice and close miles in the miles. He informed that a three -day meeting will be held of PrTC 2,511 on 20, 21 and 22 May. If the government does not find a solution in this meeting, the struggle will be strengthened. Gurpreet Singh demanded that the employees of the contractor who made less than 18 years work permanent according to the PRTC service rules.
