Nine people arrested in a 19 -year -old girl -gang rape in Varanasi
A total of 23 people have been arrested for raping a 19 -year -old girl in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Additional Cantt Vidush Saxena police commissioner said police were looking for all the accused gang -to end the woman in a six -day gap, so far nine people have been arrested and others will also be caught soon. According to police, the victim was taken to several hotels after he fed the intoxicating dust, where she was raped by 23 people. ACP Saxena said: “Police teams are looking for other accused and they will also be arrested soon.” The victim’s family members refused to talk to the media. The mother of the rape victim quoted PTI and said, “Whatever you want, you can talk to the police and take it from the police station.” Officials said the victim went out with some youth on March 29. 23 people allegedly picked up the victim. On April 4, the victim’s family filed a complaint when she did not return. She has been missing since March 29. Police said earlier that the woman when he was rescued said nothing about the rape. The victim’s family filed an official complaint on April 6 claiming that her daughter is gang truck. Police said a case was registered at 12 nominee and 11 unidentified people under the relevant sections of the Code of Justice of India (BNS). The accused was identified as Raj Vishwakarma, Sameer, Ayush, Sohail, Danish, Anmol, Sajid, Zaheer, Imran, Jab, Aman and Raj Khan. The officer said the woman told police that the accused had taken her to various hotels and Hookah bars between March 29 and April 4 and got her gang tract. The woman’s mother said in her complaint that her daughter had gone to her friend’s home on March 29. The victim’s mother said in her complaint: “While returning home, she met a son named Raj Vishwakarma, who took her to her cafe in Lanka, where Raj and her other friend did ‘bad deeds’ with her.
