Robinpreet Singh of Village Nvan Pind Mohalla of Gurdaspur and his friend Nitish Saini died in a road accident near the lovely University of Jalandhar. Robinpreet was a physiotherapist at Sriman Hospital in Jalandhar, while Nitish from Himachal came to meet him. Nitish lived in Phagwara earlier earlier. Robinpreet Singh and Nitish returned to Jalandhar with another companion with another companion at about 12:00 on Friday night at about 12:00. When they reached the LPU, their car collided with large stones held for road building and hit the pole of the billboard. This led to the death of two youths in the car. Robinpreet Singh was the only son of parents and he worked in Jalandhar after obtaining a physiotherapist degree. Nitish lived in Phagwara earlier earlier.
