PUNJAB: RPG attack case at the Battala Police Station, Complaints Submitted against 11 accused

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against 11 accused in the case of Rocket -powered pomegranate (RPG) terror attack at the Fort Lal Singh police station in the Battala district Punjab. The attack on the police station took place in April 2025, responsible by the banned terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). In this charge sheet filed with the Special Court of NIA in Mohali, all the arrested accused were charged under various divisions of BNS 2023, RA (P) Weapon Act and Explosions Act Act on the BNA Act. However, 11 other accused associated with the case are still absolute. NIA investigation revealed that the entire conspiracy was hatched by BKI operatives sitting abroad. This includes Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pasia, Mannu Agwan and Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi Navsherian. They made the weak youth of Punjab Radical and recruited them using social media platforms. Investigations revealed that their main goal was to promote the anti -Indian agenda and spread terror in the country, for which he attacked the police station with a rocket -powered grenade. In May, the NIA, which conducted an investigation into the state police in May, continues to catch the investigation to catch the absolutely accused and other unknown conspirators involved in the attack, but they have not yet succeeded. The NIA filed a charge sheet against Abhijot Singh alias Babba alias Gopi, the most important accused in the grenade attack in Sector 10 of Chandigarh, on Saturday. The attack was also created by Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorists. The attack was targeted by a retired Punjab police officer to create fear in society.
