BJP broke out about the narrative of Sharia above the Constitution, and this worrying, CM Hemant must remove Minister Hafeezul
The declaration of the Minister of Minority Welfare of Jharkhand, Hafeezul Hasan Ansari, created a political riot that Sharia is above the Constitution. The BJP described it as a matter of serious concern and demanded that Ansari be removed from the post of minister. The party compared the statement of a Hemant Soren government minister to the statement of Baby Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. It is described as an insult to Bhimrao Ambedkar. Hemant Soren, chief minister of Jharkhand, said his government would not implement the WAQF (Amendment Act) in the state. On a question related to this, Ansari said, “Sharia is a wonderful law for me.” Our Muslims hold the Qur’an in our hearts and the Constitution. Therefore, we will maintain Sharia first and then the Constitution. That’s what my Islam says. Sanjay Seth, Minister of Defense of the Union for Defense and Ranchi MP, described the statement of Ansari as unhappy for democracy. He said that Desh today celebrates the birthday of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, and on the same day a minister says that Sharia is above the Constitution. It is very unfortunate. The Constitution is supremacy, nothing can be done above it. BJP spokeswoman Sudhanshu Trivedi described the statement of Ansari as a serious concern, saying that the minister made it clear by his remarks that if his parties were in power, the Constitution would be at risk. Trivedi said he kept the Constitution in his pocket, while the voters of BJP and NDA kept the Constitution in their chest. This struggle is among those who keep the Constitution in their pockets and are among those who keep the Constitution in their heart. The declaration of Ansari shows that he has no respect for the Constitution. States will have to implement the WAQF Act Sudhanshu Trivedi, also made it clear that the State WAQF (amendment) Act, 2025, cannot refuse to implement. He said: “We want to make clear that the powers of the center, state and district level governments after the 73rd and 74th amendments in the Constitution are clearly defined. No district Panchayat can go beyond the law accepted by the state law and no state can ignore the law accepted by the center (parliament).
