He addressed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and urged them to ensure the victims justice and take concrete steps to protect Ahmadi places from worship. Siobhain McDonagh-MP, a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (AppG) for the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, expressed her outrage on social media. The long-standing discrimination against Ahmadis for decades has faced the Ahmadi Muslim community a systematic discrimination in Pakistan, where they are legally declared under the Constitution as non-Muslims.
