There is increasing anger in Muslim countries after an aggressive increase in Israel’s military operation in Gaza. On Monday, a ministerial meeting of the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this meeting, Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, strongly condemned Israel. In the OC meeting, Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, described Israel’s campaign as a threat to regional and world security. He also called Israel’s recent plan to capture the city of Gaza. Saudi’s anger over Greater Israel Yojana, Saudi Foreign Minister, asked an immediate ceasefire at Gaza Strip and urged the global world to end Israeli occupation. Prince Faisal also condemned the talk of Israeli leaders who made “greater Israel”. He confirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to the establishment of a Palestinian state on the basis of the borders of 1967. The minister said that more countries join the Saudi Arabia initiative to recognize the Palestinian state. He urged the countries to reconsider their attitude that does not condemn Israel’s invasion. Pakistan also attacked Israel, Foreign Minister in Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, also condemned Israel’s aggressive rhetoric in his statement in the same session. Dar warned that Gaza had become a cemetery for both the lives of innocent people and international law. At a meeting held in Jeddah, Dar the Israeli Cabinet plan of full military control over Gaza described and said a direct threat to the Arab and regional safety. Dar called on OIC to unite and take concrete steps instead of rhetoric. The Pakistani Foreign Minister said Gaza sustained indiscriminate bombing, blockade, forced displacement and hunger in the Israeli attack and killed more than 60,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children.
