The accident took place near Lalpur Umri village on the Sawai Madhopur-Gangapur City Mega Highway. According to the police, the tempo was going from Sawai Madhopur to Gangapur City with passengers when it was hit by a car coming from the opposite direction. A police official said three passengers died instantly, while six others were injured. Five of the seriously injured were referred to Jaipur for better treatment. The bodies were sent to the government hospital.
