The high expenses lead Saudi -"Jarir" gains to a slight decrease

Jarir Marketing Company scored a minor decrease in its profits by 1% during the first quarter of 2025, with an annual basis of 217.3 million Riyals. To come below average expectations of analysts whose Bloomberg asked their opinions, amounting to 236.5 million Riyals. The company revealed in a statement on the Saudi Stock Exchange website “Tadawul” that the decline in the net profit is due to the high sales and marketing costs. On the other hand, the first quarter revenue rose 2.7% year -on -year, supported by increasing sales of some divisions, especially smartphones and post -sales services. In terms of a quarterly basis, the company’s profits fell 21% due to the decline in sales of 5%, compared to the last quarter of 2024, the increase in sales and marketing costs and the decline in other revenue.
